Olivia is one of the limited edition playable characters in Candy Crush Friends Saga.
The player can unlock this character by collecting 450 stickers of Olivia character from gift boxes or by completing the Octopus Challenge when available.
Description[]
A natural-born musician, singer and comedienne, Olivia is a versatile and ambitious octopus with a dream in her heart. She loves to cook and is always ready with a song or a delicious dish to lift everyone's spirits.
Ability[]
When the player collects 12 purple candies, Olivia will hit 3 random gummy squares, taking out 2 layers. She will always target gummy squares with octopus over those without.
If there is no gummy, Olivia will remove other blockers and then random candies.
Analysis[]
She can only be used in Octopus levels with purple candies.
- However during Octopus Challenge, she can also be used in other level types. In these cases she will hit other blockers.
Despite the heavy restriction, her precised targeting over octopus is powerful. It is very common to see fake gummy squares (those without octopus) popping after she frees every other octopus.
However, her ability is quite heavy, comparing to Odus who only needs 8. Also, since her ability only hits a few tiles, if there is not enough space for cascades, her ability cannot help much.
Costumes[]
- 1: Olivia basic Costume
Special move animation: While waiting for her last 3 candy Olivia pumps her fists like a boxer then thrashes the board with he tentacles and ink when the candy has been collected.
Victory dance: Turns her back, puts up one tentacle at time then put each down one at a time, turns back around, claps then crosses them over her eyes.

- 2: Olivia the Witch Costume (450 stickers from the "Trail of Treats" event during Halloween)
Special move animation: While collecting her candy she starts to brew a potion in a large caldron. She uses her ability by letting three phantoms popping out of the caldron and reaching target tiles, then they deal damage.
Victory dance: Olivia hovers on her broom to celebrate finishing the board.

Trivia[]
- An octopus in real life is likely to have an even number (mostly 8) of legs. In the case of Olivia however, she has exactly 5 legs, being an odd number.
