Frosting is an element in Candy Crush Friends Saga only found in animal levels. The player must free the animals stuck in frosting. It can be broken by matching candies on top of it. This procedure has to be repeated a second time if it is a double frosting.
Note that it is not a blocker, such that mixing a color bomb with coloring candy can still only remove one layer directly.
- On the other hand, using any lollipop will destroy all layers even if they are under other blockers like Raspberry Twister Cake.
Types[]
The frosting comes in two forms: double frosting and single frosting. Double frosting has a much whiter appearance and is more opaque than single frosting which is translucent with content slightly visible.

Single frosting is first seen in level 1, but will always show up when there are animal levels. This is because a double frosting turns into a single frosting when it is hit. Single frosting is translucent and whether it cover animals can be seen. In starting boards, it is very common in the beginning, but later the double frosting takes over almost completely.
Double Frosting[]
Double Frosting
Double frosting first appears in level 2. They are by far the more common type of frosting in the game and they get increasingly abundant. In the hundreds and onward, nearly every frosting in the game is a double frosting.
Trivia[]
- This object works similar with Jelly in Candy Crush Saga. However, this object itself is not level objective, though it usually covers animals the level objective instead.
- Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Jelly Saga have the same name as this.
