Color Bomb

Color Bomb is one of the special candies in Candy Crush Friends Saga and perhaps one of the most recognizable!

The Color Bomb is incredibly useful and powerful, as when you combine it with another candy it will destroy every candy on the board of the same color. Perfect for meeting those targets or clearing away space when you need it most.

To really maximize its effectiveness, try to combine the Color Bomb with any of other special candies to create super powerful effects! For example, match a Color Bomb with a Swedish Fish and a shoal of sweet swimming fish will gobble up those blockers and candies!

You can create a Color Bomb by matching five candies in a straight line. Switch the Color Bomb with a Candy, and all of the Candies of that color on the board will explode!

Combinations

Mixing a Color Bomb with another special candy can create various effects.

Below list only contains standard special candies.

Striped Candy

Turns all other normal candies of same color into striped candies in a horizontal-vertical pattern, then activate them.

Wrapped Candy

Turns all other normal candies of same color into wrapped candies, then activate them.

Candy Fish

Turns all other normal candies of same color into candy fish, then activate them.

Color Bomb

They will fuse together and create a large explosion, dealing 1 damage to all objects on the board.

Coloring Candy

They will fuse together and create a large explosion, dealing heavy damage to all objects on the board. In detail:

• Gummy will take 2-4 damage such that remaining gummies cannot have more than 2 layers, while gummies with 2 or fewer layers will be removed immediately.
• Mint will take full damage and be removed. The frosting below stay the same, while exposed frosting are removed.
• Caramel Cup will take full damage and be removed. Cookies are not affected, but will fall afterwards.
• Pound Cake will take 2-4 damage such that remaining cakes cannot have more than 2 layers, while cakes with 2 or fewer layers will be removed immediately.
• Raspberry Twister Cake and OctoSmash will take full damage and start to activate.
• Liquorice Swirl under other blockers stay safe, but those exposed will be removed.
• Other standard blockers will be removed.

If either tile in the combination contains jam, it will be spread to all affected candies. Otherwise, only the affected tiles with jam will act accordingly.

Trivia

• In this game, a Color Bomb will change the color of the sprinkles from time to time, like an actual disco ball.
• Unlike in Candy Crush Saga, combinations will not target other special candies of the same color.
